Omega 3 fatty acids are unsaturated essential fatty acids, meaning the body cannot produce them itself. They are absorbed through food (fatty marine fish or certain oils). These fatty acids contribute significantly to maintaining good physical condition or to the reversal of damage. They prevent deposits in the blood vessels and regenerate existing ones, thus lowering cholesterol levels and blood pressure (having a vasodilating effect), reducing platelet clumping, and preventing blood clots.
