The bark and root of the cat's claw have been widely used in traditional medicine in Central and South America for centuries. Cat's claw has anti-inflammatory, immune-boosting, blood pressure-lowering, and blood-thinning properties. It is used for musculoskeletal inflammation such as osteoarthritis and arthritis, high blood pressure, circulatory problems, viral infections, irritations and issues with the stomach and intestinal lining, and hemorrhoids.
Because this plant lowers blood pressure and slows blood clotting, caution is advised when taking prescribed medications. The effects of blood thinners and blood pressure-lowering drugs may be increased.
Dosage: Up to 2 capsules per day, divided between doses
