The leaves of the cranberry, also called lingonberry, have a normalizing effect on the function of the bladder, especially when pathogenic bacteria are developing and inhibit the development of cystitis. They also inhibit pre-existing infection and are useful as a prophylactic measure in recurrent bladder infections. Dosage: Bring 1 tablespoon with 200ml water to a slow boil and gently boil for 5 minutes. Drink the freshly prepared brew twice a day.
