The extracts of gentian, verbena and andrographis paniculata stimulate the immune system to eliminate bacteria and viruses more effectively. Andrographis paniculata, an Asian plant that also has an anti-inflammatory effect, is traditionally used there for respiratory infections. Rich in natural rutin, mullein and elderflower extracts seal capillaries, reducing swelling in the sinuses and airways. The mullein has an expectorant effect and protectively pads the mucous membranes with its mucilage.
